Sound Of Nature – Flowing Water 02 (Stereo Version)

The modern, civilized man has pretty much lost its natural connection to mother Earth. We live in cities, man-made spaces basically our entire live and are constant listening to the soundscape of Anthrophony. In the SOUND OF NATURE SERIES, it is all about the sound of Nature. I try to capture the sound of natural environments, biotopes, wildlife and different natural materials. Great care is benign given to capture those songs as pure and clean as possible, free from man made noises. I’m constantly pushing the boundaries to deliver the most authentic and expressive nature recordings.

Flowing Water 02 is the second release in the series and radically expands the palette of sounds found in the first release in terms of tonal variation and format flexibility. Within the 126 recordings, the user will find an abundant variety of different natural flowing water sounds. From tiny gurgling watercourses, babbling brooks and gently bubbling forest streams to vast European rivers, turbulent rapids and roaring waterfalls, it features a wide variety of unique sounds that attempt to represent the 1000 voices of flowing water. You will find mostly close, some medium and a few distant perspective recordings with precise distance decryptions in the metadata. This collection is the perfect tool for natural & dynamic ambience construction. To maximize production value, great care has been taken to deliver the cleanest recordings possible, where man-made sounds and birdsong is reduced to a minimum.

This release comes in two versions:

• Regular stereo recordings that are ready to use inside the project.
• Native DMS and decoded 5.0 surround recordings. The reason to offer raw DMS format and decoded surrounds multi-wave files is to give the user a “ready-to-use” drag & drop file with the decoded 5.0 files and at the same time give him the opportunity to use the native DMS files, in case that he needs more out-put format flexibility (Quad, 7.1 etc.).
